Last Thursday I saw a kiosk in the impulsive area of a mall which sells not so practical dish garden. This gave me an idea of placing a plant that would survive in my muddled place, to make its physical feature softer. Then I went to my friends Garden and look for something to put up in a plant pot. My eyes struck in one of the plants and it’s known as PRAYER PLANT. I don’t know.. But I can’t resist to admire its astonishing foliage which mainly a dark green with red variations of veins running through them. I became curios why these plants called as PRAYER PLANTS. Untie Bebe told me, Prayer Plant amazingly the leaves fold up at night, just like its praying! Isn’t it amazing that even Plants praise our God.. I took some Photos of these plants and amazingly lead me into winding up that the Lord is really magnificent. Every creature have different characteristic just like these plants, some are shape like heart, some plants have hair, and some do move noticeably. If plants do Praise and pray to its Creator, then why not us? Sometimes I miss talking to God, but putting up living Plants in my place could remind me that the Lord is really magnificent. Tomorrow is my birthday and taking care of a Prayer Plant is an incredible gift from Above.
Dark: MERALCO Poor Services
Upon moving my photo blog here in my main domain I changed my Logo, so this is the first post to be using my new LOGO. This post is the first time that I’ll contribute a photo for VFXY theme. This week Theme is DARK. I dug my huge file of photos to see if I have a picture that represents DARK.

In my place we normally experience “Blackout” or electrical power failure. This started to happen when our electrical power supplier MERALCO reconfigure the way to supply power in our town to emit the irresponsible people who stole electricity by tapping wires directly to main line going to their homes. But instead of preventing thieves, it prevented us to get a good services. The main electrical post blows up and cut the supply in my vicinity. Normally this power failure last for 4-6 hours. But recently it getting worst we get 3 power failures in a week, and the worst incident happened on August 21 to 23, 2009. We been out of supply started at 10:00 pm August 21, 2009 then resume power on August 22, 2009, 2:00 pm followed a power failure again at 5:00 pm then hardly resumes at 9:00 am August 23, 2009. Between those dates we just receive 3 hours of services from MERALCO. What kind of services did this monopolist company confer to us? In fact they should bestow us a rebate for giving us poor services. We all know how important electricity to us especially to Elders, sick people and children not to mention the small businesses that electricity is needed. Do they know how much these small businesses lose in their earnings every hour of interrupted services they can give? Do they know how much stress it gave to bread winners of each home that suppose to be rewarded with a restful night? Do they know how traumatic to children to be in a DARK and deep silence? Do MERALCO know how much money it will cost to redeem a life of a near death person in the hospital due to Stroke because of heat? With the increasing price of electricity and the unexplainable charges MERALCO are charging us we, as customers deserve some A1 satisfaction. On a scale of 1-10 ill give them nothing. What is wrong with the management? They monopolize the energy industry and we get no happiness from them and they repay us with poor service and an overpriced bill.We have not yet started with astronomic deposits that are refundable after a decade or so.

MERALCO’s tag line is “May Liwanag ang Buhay” (there is radiance in life). Here I’m posting a Photo of fading plants with a little elimination that represent DARK ness and the services MERALCO provides us.
