A Golden Treasure Wedding

I’m the florist, the singer, the photographer, the designer, the DJ, and the coordinator. wahhhh!!! I did this wedding just like mine… i wish!!! all i know is that my parents were glad that they got married on the church, which they dreamt of long ago… and it was fascinating! but the most wonderful thing that happened that day is that we are all complete; me and my dad are in good term.

We’ve featured good Filipino food, the best places in the Philippines, prettiest Faces, famous Pinoys etc. here in DF. Now its time for us to pay tribute to ou…r very own HIP LOLOs and LOLAs. They are our second parents, our story tellers, our chaperones, our tutors, our ATM machines (when we ask for extra allowance), our cooks, our Dance Instructors…our ally against everything.

If you think your Lolo/Lola is the “coolest” then be proud of them and let the whole DF world know and submit their HIPPEST PHOTO with a short caption of what makes them “HIP”.
• Photos must be un-edited.
• Photos must be at least 800 x 600 pixels in size or close (nothing small or
blurred please)
• Please email pictures to dfproudpinoy@gmail.com
• ONLY THOSE PICTURES EMAILED TO: dfproudpinoy@gmail.com

It will be fun to see the reactions of our dear Lolos and Lolas when they see their pictures on DF!

It’s time to let them know that they are a big part of our lives….our heritage….they are DEFINITELY FILIPINO!

My Mom and Dad qualifies to be the hippest LOLO and LOLA i hope they’ll post it in their album. My mom and dad is at their 70′s now. I emailed Definitely Filipino and my message goes like this.

Hello Admin! I just want to participate in your hippest lola and lolo album i want to post my mom and dads wedding their actually lolo and lola na.. im a menopausal baby.. my mom bear me when she was 45. what so hip about my dad and mom is that they got married on the church, finally! they wish for this and at their 50th wedding anniversary we decided to give them a golden treasure wedding that everyone iwill remember. And i want to share this very inspiring moment to all of you my fellow countryman. This event reminds us that wedding is really sacred that most of us almost forget. The love that binds them in their 50 years of wedded life is so amazing! And that is because of the guidance that they seek upon our LORD. I don’t know how to send you the pics but it is in this website. You can grab it perhaps.. I’m looking forward for this post.. And let me spare this moment to thank you for binding the Filipinos using the technology.. More powers to you admin!!
